What We Do
The Therapy Collective provides independent medicolegal assessment and reporting services, delivered by Director and Occupational Therapist Amy Vincent.
With over 20 years of clinical experience across Australia and the United Kingdom, Amy is a trusted expert witness with particular expertise in dust diseases including mesothelioma, asbestosis and silicosis.
Comprehensive assessments
Occupational Therapy assessments are conducted primarily via secure video telehealth. Home visit assessments are also available based on the requirements of the matter and the client's circumstances. Each assessment includes a full functional capacity evaluation, relevant standardised outcome measures, and a home environment assessment. Amy takes the time to properly assess and understand each client as an individual in order to inform the final report and expert opinion.
Independent and objective reports
Amy Vincent is qualified to deliver independent and objective opinion and the recommendations provided are based on evidence-based practice and robust clinical reasoning. Occupational Therapy reports may cover vocational suitability and work capacity, past, current and future care requirements, major and minor home modifications, equipment requirements following illness or injury. All reports comply with the Expert Witness Code of Conduct.
