Amy has particular expertise in:

• Respiratory diseases and dust diseases including mesothelioma, asbestosis and silicosis
• Catastrophic injuries and illnesses including traumatic brain injuries, amputations and spinal cord injuries

Amy provides independent, evidence-based Occupational Therapy medicolegal assessments and reports, and has expert witness experience in the District and Supreme Courts of Queensland, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the Dust Diseases Tribunal of New South Wales.

Amy holds a Masters of Occupational Therapy Studies from the University of Queensland and has completed postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom. She has worked across a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, residential care facilities and other community and vocational settings, and has considerable experience managing teams of allied health professionals. Amy has been recognised nationally for her contributions to improving service delivery and outcomes for her clients.

Amy's expertise includes, but is not limited to, aged care, acute and chronic injury management, chronic disease management, neurological rehabilitation and palliative care, working with clients of all ages across the public and private sectors. Amy founded The Therapy Collective in 2016.

Amy has has co-authored publications in the Journal of Neuro Rehabilitation and the Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development, including work on internet-based assessment of activities of daily living and hand function in people with Parkinson's disease.
