The Therapy Collective

founded in 2016

The Therapy Collective is a specialist supplier of innovative assistive technology, founded by Occupational Therapist Amy Vincent. We're passionate about technology that helps people experience greater independence and enjoy the activities they love, and we specialise in VELA, Obi, and Vicair solutions.

Through thoughtfully designed trial experiences and clinical resources, we support clinicians and clients across Queensland to trial and prescribe solutions that enhance independence and everyday living.

The Beginning

The Therapy Collective was founded in 2016 by Amy Vincent, after an extensive career as an Occupational Therapist practicing across clinical and healthcare management roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. Amy's unwavering commitment to prioritising clients and leading with integrity, compassion, and inclusivity shaped her vision.

2017

In 2017, The Therapy Collective became a specialist supplier of innovative assistive technology and mobility aids. Our handpicked collection of high-quality products have been carefully selected by Amy. Each product boasts practical and diverse clinical applications, backed by robust research and development. We're dedicated to expanding our range with only the best available on the market.

2020

In 2020, Amy's sister Phoebe joined The Therapy Collective as our Business Manager, bringing a wealth of expertise and a shared passion for innovation. Phoebe’s addition to the team marked a significant milestone, enhancing our operational capabilities and strengthening our commitment to providing excellent service and support.

2022

The Therapy Collective celebrated another milestone in 2022 with the establishment of our first showroom studio. This space allowed us to enhance our services across Queensland. Around this time, we invested in enriching our content and refining our trial experiences, building on our strong foundation to provide clinicians and clients with an ever-growing suite of resources.

2025

In 2025, The Therapy Collective relocated to Hendra, Brisbane, establishing a flagship showroom that strengthens our Queensland-wide service. Intentionally designed to feel like a real home, the space includes a kitchen with living and dining areas, allowing clinicians and customers to see and experience our assistive technology in practical, everyday settings, whether in person or online. The showroom continues to support our commitment to meaningful trials and collaboration with clinicians and customers throughout Queensland.
