Spare Cushion Covers

Top Cover
This is the standard cover for the Vicair O2 cushion range. This cover provides optimal ventilation and comfort for wheelchair users as it only covers the top part of the wheelchair cushion, leaving the bottom part open. This enhances the breathability of the cushion, and assists in maintaining an optimal microclimate around the skin, thereby reducing pressure injuries. To make optimal use of the temperature and moisture regulating qualities of the Vicair O2 cushions, we recommend using the Top Cover.

Comfair Cover
This cover is made from multi-dimensional stretch material which allows immersion into the cushion. The breathable fabric enables air flow and reduces the build up of heat. The Comfair Cover closes fully with a zip, and the cover is fitted with an anti-slip bottom and hook and loop strips.

Incotec Cover
The Incotec cover is made from an elastic material that is resistant to fluids, meaning it prevents fluids and moisture from running through into the cushion. This cover can be cleaned using a washing machine or by wiping it down with a cloth/ disinfectant wipes. It is ideal to use in settings such as hospitals or rehabilitation facilities.

Where urinary incontinence exists, a Top Cover may be a better alternative. This is because the Incotec Cover impacts on the temperature and moisture regulating qualities of the cushion as it is designed to protect the cushion, not the user. A Top Cover is designed to allow fluids to flow through the cushion, preventing a build up of fluid between the cover and skin. The Top Cover can be used with an incontinence pad underneath the cushion to soak up any fluids / incontinence and the both the cushion and cover are machine washable for easy cleaning.

No warranty on outer cover. We recommend replacing the cover every 12 months.
